Lansdowne Wines produce cool climate wines from Lansdowne Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. There is a focus on the relationship between soil health, vine resilience and grape quality to produce premium organic fruit and mindfully made wines.

The journey began in 1996 when the first vines were planted at Lansdowne Vineyard. Today, 16 hectares of various grape varieties are cultivated, including pinot noir, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, and pinot grigio, as well as smaller blocks of cabernet sauvignon and syrah (shiraz). Situated at 350 meters in the Forreston Valley, Lansdowne Vineyard benefits from warm summer days and cool nights, ideal conditions for grape growing.

Organic farming and sustainability are at the core of our values. Since 2018, the vineyard has embraced them in order to improve soil health, vine resilience and wine quality.

We believe in a less-is-more approach to winemaking. Our goal is to allow the grapes to express themselves with minimal interference. By utilising gentle techniques and keen observation, we safeguard the unique characteristics of each vintage, resulting in wines that are authentic and true to their time and place.
